"Hey Chris," Jason said to me, "if you have any songs that need pedal steel on them, send them to me and I'll totally add pedal steel to them." Well, it turns out I did have some songs that needed pedal steel on them, and while I was recording them, I made up a few new ones, too. Jason made up a few new ones too of his own, and I added some bass playing and guitaring and harmonizing to those and before we knew it we had a whole album's worth of tunes. Songs about driving fast and songs about driving slow and even songs that aren't about driving at all.

We almost called it the Bean Burrito Brothers, but instead we called it Return of the Paisley Angels by Chris Twist & Jason Steady. Enjoy.
